Aabacus Kennels strives to fill the niche between highly bred, expensive show-dogs, and the poorly-bred, sickly, pet shop puppies, derived from puppy-mills, and the "backyard breeder". *BEWARE - ALL PUPPIES ARE CUTE!*  The pedigree behind the puppy is what determines what the quality of the dog will be when mature. We cater to the discriminating pet buyer, who is looking for a healthy dog, who fits the breed standard for a Pomeranian - a dog that you will be proud to show-off as an adult!   Yes! We do sell to families with children, after a short education and care briefing, and offer an informative package when puppy leaves for its new home.

We breed tiny, vigorous dogs, who are lovingly raised to be wonderful companions and house-pets, from Canadian champion show stock. Temperament is a priority, and all are health guaranteed against genetic defects. Aabacus puppies are all sold on CKC Non-Breeding contracts, and must be spayed or neutered before 8 months of age.

Our harsh Canadian climate helps to produce the luxurious, thick, double coat, that Pomeranians are well-known for. The Pom is bred down from the Spitz-type Nordic dogs, and like their cousins, do not have a "doggy" odour. There is very little daily shedding from a Pom. Many people with allergies are able to tolerate Pomeranians.

Our puppies are CKC registered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and have their puppy vaccinations. Each puppy matures at its own rate, and therefore, the age at which we allow them to go to their new homes will vary - from 10 to 16 weeks - usually.
